costumes
Our lead protagonist will be wearing a gee which will be white top and black pants with a black belt. he will also be wearing some black pumps. We also designed the hood or throw over he will be wearing to hide his face. the costume will be basic black and white to clash and make him stand out. Are protagonist is a adult so the costume should look real and athentic in the camera. The hood is being made by Luke's gran and will be there on the day o the shoot.

Lighting
Are lighting will be done by lamps i will bring in. They are going to be tested and used on thursday during the filming in the dance studio. We are looking for lighting that is dark and right enough to hide the characters face and light him up. We also are bringing in a weapon and making it shine with the light. The fantasy genre tends to be dark vs light and we are putting it together and creating a mysterious scene. Also we are using the design to the enhance lighting in the room. The lighting was tested and approved and here are some pics of what it looks like:

Music
This is our groups favourite music track as we believe that it will suit our film perfectly as well as breaking the rules for the average fantasy genre.

Target audience
As with all films, We need an audience. We need a specific target age to which we can associate with the film. Our group has decided on a Teen to middle age audience. this film has young fantasy elements that capture the essence of youth and imagination but essential has a dark and mysterious construct that is more appropriate to and young adult audience. i would put the target between 16-25. this may have been noted in a previous post, but this is our final choice and overall audience decision.

Good group! Don't forget to comment on the importance of branding for the film industry ( your institution) link to other films also- make sure you have analysed the videos you have put on your blog, and what your films brand image is .....
- Research - which studio will produce your film and why?
- Planning - make sure you have put your target audience questionnaires and results on here
- Storyboard and animatic with comments
- shooting schedule and call sheets
- health and safety form
- props list
- cast list
- other location shots (woods?) costume shots/ideas etc...

Character Casting
The only problem with the timing of our filming is that he is rarely free as he still goes to college. This became a positive move for us as my Sensei (Lee) has become interested in the project and he has a lot of marshal arts experience. He also owns three katanas and he has a lot more free time. This is be better for scheduling times and dates to film So Lee has become our lead protagonist. A picture of him is shown below.

location ideas
These pictures are ideas for out locations for our film teaser trailer. we decided to do a scene in the college dance studio but we needed it to be closed off. our first location was too clean and flashy to work with our genre, as it had windows so it could not be used at it was open to the fields behind, thus breaking our fantasy illusion. out second location suited us better. it had no windows and had an overlooking platform from which to film our overhead and birds eye view shots.
